Well, a shoeaholic I may be, but I’m getting hooked to organizing everything! I think it’s this nesting time of year when you want to make sure everything is the way you want it to be because you know that you’re going to be looking at for the next seven cold, long months.
So after tidying up my shoes, I moved on to my clothes. Starting with pulling pieces to donate (two and a half big bags! Yay!), then on to pulling pieces that I want to alter (some DIY projects to post this winter!), then finally on to hangers.
Yes, I said hangers.
Now, even though I have pulled all these items off of my clothes rack, I still have an abundant amount of delightful choices. And since I only have this closet in my whole house, I don’t separate my seasonal wardrobes, and space becomes an issue.
Getting back to the hangers – Dollorama has these great felt-covered hangers that keep your clothes from sliding off and making a mess. They’re sleek and narrow, so you can fit lots of clothes tidily. Anyways, I’ve been buying a few bundles of these over the last few months, and finally picked up the second-last bundle needed to get all garments on uniform hangers this past weekend. And I’m too impatient to wait to post this until I get them all, ha!
I wish I took a ‘before’ picture!! But I forgot. So use your imaginations! It was sloppy…
Here’s the wonderful ‘almost’ finished product!
