Glitz and glamour are the best words to describe the look that we all aim for on New Year’s Eve. We want to ring in a shiny new year with sparkly dresses, gleaming hair, and dazzling makeup!

One of my top makeup looks for this New Year’s Eve is the vampy femme fatale as modelled here so perfectly by actress Michelle Trachtenberg.

To give your burgundy lip lasting power, use a lip pencil all over the lip underneath the lip colour to keep your eye and get the maximum amount of glamour by keeping eye makeup really simple and classic like a black, liquid liner on the upper lashes with a softer, smokier line on the outer half of your bottom lashes. To add more light, pair it with a yellow gold or champagne shadow. The finishing touches – slightly rosey cheeks and a set of perfectly groomed and shaped brows to frame it all into one beautiful picture!
